Just Another GPT Wrapper

I am going to crash out if I hear another guru make fun of a cool new project by dismissing it as “just another gpt wrapper”.

These idiots will show up under every demo video on twitter and make sure everyone knows that the creator has just built a wrapper over an LLM.

Idiots. Anyones dismissing a new project by saying this is just being a contrarian to appear smart. This is a 5 year old technology. We literally do not know what the best way to work with these opaque artificial minds is. Just for comparison, Python was released in 1991. Postgres in 96. I am not very good at math but I’m pretty sure these were more than 5 years ago and we still argue over the best way to use these.

Two decades from now, we will know the best way to work with LLMs. We wil have battle tested best practices. We do not have those as of right now.

And if it were upto these stupid hot take shooting idiots, everyone will first invent the universe and then start working on their project.

EVERYONE, PLEASE MAKE AS MANY WRAPPERS AS YOU CAN THINK OF. MAKE ONE WRAPPER EVERY TIME YOU HAVE AN HOUR AND FIND YOURSELF EVEN SLIGHTLY BORED. MAKE WRAPPERS THAT MAKE WRAPPERS FOR YOU WHILE YOU SLEEP. THAT’S THE ONLY WAY WE WILL KNOW FASTER.
